Report a user

You can report or block any user directly in the app by tapping the menu icon on their profile. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. For urgent safety concerns, email us directly.

Delete your account

Go to Settings → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your profile and associated data. If you can't access your account, email us and we'll handle it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Kin track my location in the background?

No. Kin only accesses your location while the app is open and in the foreground. When you close the app, location tracking stops completely.

Can I hide my exact location?

Yes. In Settings, you can choose Exact, Approximate (~500m jitter), or Off for your location sharing mode. You can change this at any time.

What happens to my data when I delete my account?

Your profile, posts, and associated data are permanently removed. Messages in conversations you participated in are also deleted. This cannot be undone.

How do I block someone?

Tap the menu icon (three dots) on any user's profile and select "Block." Blocked users can't see you on the map, in the feed, or message you.
